Water Loss Caused by Broken Water Heater in Simsbury, CT

The pictures show a water loss caused by a faulty water heater. Upon arrival, our crew noticed extensive damage caused not only to the unfinished basement but to the finished rooms as well. We began by extracting the vast amount of water.  Next, our crew cleaned, packed, and provided our homeowner with storage for her belongings. During water remediation, our crew discovered mold on the concrete walls and the framing. Fortunately, we were able to provide mold remediation services to our customer & arrange an air quality test to be certain that we were successful in ridding her basement of mold. Once drying & cleaning were completed we repainted her concrete floors. With repairs completed, we then moved the belongings back in. Our customer is so grateful to us for the services that were provided, as she is caring for her sick husband she appreciated all the help she could get and SERVPRO of The Windsors was more than glad to help her from the beginning to the end!
